Nicolas Testé in Malta to perform with the MPO

Nicolas will be in Malta this weekend to record a concert with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra that will be broadcast on television at a later date.

He will be joined by his wife, soprano Diana Damrau, as well as Maltese mezzo-soprano Marvic Monreal and young baritone Charles Buttigieg. José Cura will lead the orchestra.

This production will feature as part of the MPO’s Online Programme. Release dates for online and TV distribution will be announced shortly on the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra’s website.

Stream des Konzerts „Grand Finale“ aus Malta

Am 11. August gibt das Malta Philharmonic Orchestra ein Konzert, das Diana Damrau und Nicolas Testé unter dem Dirigat von José Cura in einem spektakulären audiovisuellen Event präsentiert.

Auf dem Programm des Online-Konzerts, das aus dem ikonischen Fort St. Elmo in Valletta übertragen wird, stehen Auszüge aus Opern und anderen musiktheatralischen Werken von Komponisten wie Gershwin, Bellini, Offenbach, Verdi, Rossini und vielen weiteren. Das hochkarätig besetzte Sängerensemble umfasst mit Marvic Monreal und Charles Buttigieg auch zwei maltesische Jungstars. „Grand Finale“ wird am 11. August um 21:00 Uhr (MESZ) auf dem YouTube-Kanal des MPO gesendet und ist außerdem am Freitag, den 13. August, um 21:00 Uhr auf TVM zu sehen.
