The Metropolitan Opera’s DVD and Blu-Ray release of Bizet’s ‘Les Pêcheurs de perles,’ featuring Diana Damrau as Leïla and Nicolas Testé as the high priest Nourabad, is nominated for a 2017 GRAMMY Award: Best Opera Recording. This DVD was recorded during a LIVE in HD world-wide broadcast in cinemas.

Nicolas Testé appears as Basilio in Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia at the Opéra Bastille in a production by Damiano Michieletto.
Joining him are Olga Kulchynska as Rosina, Massimo Cavalletti as Figaro and René Barbera as Il Conte d’Almaviva.
The performances take place from January 24 to February 16. Riccardo Frizza conducts.
