Performances at La Scalla cancelled due to coronavirus outbreak

In accordance with the ministerial decree of March 4 to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus, the performances scheduled at Teatro alla Scala are suspended until April 3.

This season, Nicolas Testé performs on the stage of La Scala as Frère Laurent in Bartlett Sher’s sumptuous production of Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette. Mr. Testé is joined by Diana Damrau as Juliette and Vittorio Grigolo as Roméo, with Maestro Lorenzo Viotti leading from the pit. The performances take place from January 15 – February 16.
