On September 5, Nicolas Testé stars as one of the soloists in José Cura’s Ecce Homo, singing Vox Creaturæ, Caiphas, and Pilatus, alongside Elisa Balbo as Maria, Ramón Vargas as Cristo, Roxana Constantinescu as Magdalena, and Marius Vlad Budoiu as Iuda, Tribunos, and Ioannes.
José Cura himself will conduct the performance, which also includes the world premiere of his Te Deum, and Modus, the kyrie from the Argentinean Requiem.

On August 25, Nicolas Testé, Diana Damrau and tenor Roko Radovan close the Dubrovnik Festival, with a spectacular opera gala, featuring overtures, Lieder, arias and duets by Wagner, Richard Strauss, Puccini, Donizetti, Gounod and Bellini. Ivan Repušić leads the Croatian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra.

Nicolas Testé returns to France on September 13 and September 15 to sing Le Comte des Grieux in two concert performances of Massenet’s Manon at the Opéra de Lyon and the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées. The cast features Vannina Santoni in the title role, Saimir Pirgu as Le Chevalier des Grieux, Jean-Sébastien Bou as Lescaut, Eric Huchet as Guillot de Morfontaine and Philippe Estèphe as Monsieur de Brétigny. Daniele Rustioni leads the Orchestre de l’Opéra national de Lyon.
